DEEPaaS Release Notes

Current (un)Release Notes

0.5.0

New Features

  • Allow to specify which arguments the underlying model accepts for the testing calls. In this release users can implement a “get_test_args” function in the module entry point, allowing to expose those arguments through the API.

Known Issues

  • The 0.5.0 version stops passing down the raw data when making a prediction, and passes down the file objects. This breaks backwards compatibility with the 0.4.0 version.

0.3.0

Prelude

This release add support for running DEEPaaS inside an OpenWhisk Docker action container, without modifying the code or without external dependencies.

New Features

  • We have added support for running DEEPaaS as an OpenWhisk Docker action. When DEEPaaS is invoked via deepaas-run –openwhisk-detect it will detect if it is running inside an OpenWhisk Docker container, thus it will spawn a proxy service that will get the requests and invoke the corresponding model function. A new command deepaas-wsk is also provided as a command line option to force the execution of DEEPaaS in OpenWhisk mode.

0.2.0

New Features

  • Allow to specify which arguments the underlying model accepts. In this release users can implement a “get_train_args” function in the module entry point, allowing to expose those arguments through the API.

0.1.1

Other Notes

  • This is the first release to include a standalone documentation.
